Willa Johnson-Thurman is a Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) that works with The Mighty Acorn Counseling to provide individual counseling sessions and assessments to individuals diagnosed with substance use disorders. She primarily works with patients attending the medication assisted treatment program at the Cleveland Avenue location in Columbus, Oh. Willa approaches each client with an individualized plan by using a patient centered approach. Willa has a strong passion to develop rapports with her clients in order to address each need in recovery. She is continuously gaining knowledge and education to apply evidence based counseling practices and techniques.
